Post-Turkey weekend

I had a great time over the turkey weekend. Portland, OR was really nice and I get to hang out with ex-EUP mates and some new ones too. We ate ate ate and play play play Wii Wii Wii! Thats pretty much sums it up.

Boy, am I glad to be home on Saturday evening. It snowed heavily on Sunday, the traffic back must have been a nightmare. Here is a photo of my condo complex today morning. You can still see all the leftover snows from yesterday. We are suppose to get more later. So I better get out to do my errands now. I hope the Seatac airport will be ok because I have to go pick up Juan and Natasa there, returning from their trip in Serbia.

Ok, need to catch up on so much stuff. Later...

Convenient Education

If you will watch one DVD this week or one documentary this week/month/year, watch An Inconvenient Truth!!! A truly eye opening and shocking documentary about issues that we already know but ignored...

Lately something interesting has been happening to me. As skeptical as I am on psychic ability, I found certain events to be unexplainable or purely coincidence. Every time I thought of someone dearly, or a friend/family member a lot, a communication uninitiated by me will occur. They will usually call or sms me on the same day or in a few. Even when we never spoke for years, but I can't explain how this happen. Hmm...

Making progress

It's turkey killing and eating week to celebrate human survival in America? so everyone will be 5-10lbs heavier on Thursday evening. I myself is heading down south to Portland, OR to join my ex-Edinboro classmates, Brian Menz, Alex Fleisig, Joe and Michelle Gorski!!! Gosh I haven't seen Alex and the Gorskis for a good 4 yrs, perhaps! Saw Brian few weeks back when he was in town here in Seattle. It will be fun! Lots of catching up to do.

Meanwhile, freelance is moving forward. There are lots more to do, so I need to spend more time catching up on that.

In between work and net, I have been hooked on HBO series DEADWOOD. I am sure all of you have seen or heard of this tight western series. I am glad the series revolves around the main character here who is the antagonist Al Swearengen. His wit and vulgar dialogue is nevertheless raw and honest. This show is another well written, cast and produced series from HBO, after Rome and Band of Brothers that I watched earlier. It's a late discovery but I usually prefer to watch them when its out on DVD(also since I don't have HBO anyway). Hate the cliffhanger ending to TV series, makes me have late late nights. Thats why I don't watch much TV, prefer movies anytime which wraps up the story in one sitting, except when Peter Jackson tells it. Speaking of which, it really sucks PJ won't be involved in Hobbits film as for now. New Line Cinema pulled the plug on him. The world will once again covered with darkness until PJ fans come to save the day. They betta.

Here is a interesting article(outdated but still valid) about IPOD business in Malaysia. An interesting but truthfully written and a reason why something like this will happen. Sad but real.

At this moment, there are many things going on in my life. My freelance is picking up and its going real well. I am working on a lot of concept art with Flashlight Creations and also Redjuggernaut. I hope to be able to show you real soon what I have been doing, so keep checking back here or at my website. As of now, its all confidential, shhh...

There are a lot more going on at this moment, so I hope to be able to announce something soon!

My first blog!

I would like to tell you something exciting that has been confirmed. Me and Ariel has finally decided on a date for our wedding! It will be March 4, 2007! It's the 15th day of New Lunar Year, so my mum said its a good day. Yes, she had a FengShui Pro picked the wedding date. Oh, well, since we all grew up with the custom, its hard to avoid it. But it's meant for good anyway. So we are fine with it.

The location, well since our family are all in Malaysia, so naturally it has to be hosted there. We will have the tea ceremony during the daytime, in Ariel and my house. Then in the evening, we will have a dinner banquet at Tai Thong Spring Valley Chinese Restaurant in Mid Valley Mega Mall, Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant is reputed to have great food, and a good place to have wedding dinner. Here is a photo of the restaurant that Ariel took yesterday Nov 5th 2006.

More to come...
